“From 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., come discover Sœurs, the virtuous one. Through our “Corpus” menu: women painted by women. It centers on 11 female painters to whom we wanted to pay tribute. Their works, often forgotten in art history, are now resurfacing from the past, unearthed and celebrated by the feminist movement.
In the second half of the evening, in a dramatic twist, Sœurs gives way to Carnage, her wild twin. We’ll let you discover this for yourself. Just as day gives way to night, the cocktail menu you hold in your hands gives way to another…”
Witches on Their Way to the Sabbath (or The Departure of the Witches, or Faust’s Vision), 1878, oil on canvas, by Falero.
